As a graduate of Fayetteville State University, James grew up learning and playing golf while working at the famed Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C.
Most recently he worked at Oak Creek Golf Club, where he served as the Director of Golf Instruction. There, he is widely recognized for growing Oak Creek's instructional programming with an emphasis on the growth of women’s golf programs. James has also been instrumental in the development of multiple junior golfers who have gone on to play high school and college golf.
Through his commitment to the development of golfers of all playing abilities, James has established himself as one of the more sought-after instructors in the area. “My growth as a golf instructor can be attributed to my commitment to combining long standing golf fundamentals with new and innovative teaching concepts that are tailored to meet the needs of each student”.
